house in the Pyrenees

Area: 175m2
Client: private
Location: Hautes-Pyrenees, France
Completion: 2018

This house is located in the centre of a small village in the Hautes-Pyrenees.

It benefits from views of the Pyrenees as it sits on top of a hill and on the edge of a pine forest.

All the main rooms benefit from the views, and the service rooms are at the back.

At the back of the house, a courtyard is defined by two pavilions which could accommodate guests in the summer. The courtyard is sheltered by trees.

The design of the house and the master plan has been discussed with local conservation architects, as the area is listed.
